Yes you're right, it was not so easy to photograph. I tried both sides of the river, and couldn't manage to do it on the other side as I got went in 1 or 2 seconds maximum .
I personally like this one better because the sense of motion in the water is gorgeous, when, in the other photo the water is "frozen" in time, without any moving and needing something. BTW your work is perfect
I added the exif datas on pictures texts. The main difference is that this one is 1/2 sec (not so "long" in fact) and the other one is 1/40 sec.
